St Mark's Medical Centre

St Mark's Medical Centre

St Mark's Medical Centre opened its doors to patients on 28th February 2005. The medical centre is a redevelopment of St Mark's Methodist Church on the corner of Derby Road and Church Street in Southport Town Centre. The church was redeveloped to provide modern general practice facilities for two long standing medical practices from Southport Town Centre i.e. 8 Church Street Practice and Terrace End Surgery. These two practices merged to form one new practice which relocated to the new site and now provides medical care for over 17000 patients.

The new medical centre offers an extended range of primary care facilities with a pharmacy, the district nursing team and health visitors all co-located within the same building.

The practice is continuously striving to improve the range of services that it offer in a locality setting, as our philosophy is that we can never stand still. We pride ourselves in being able to provide holistic care within one building by utilising the strengths of having a multidisciplinary team.
